Terms of Service

By using Furry PI ("the Service") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. We've kept them short and in plain language — please actually read them.

1. What Furry PI is (and isn't)

Furry PI is an informational and educational tool that helps you read and understand cat food labels, compare products, and learn about ingredients. It is not a veterinary service, and nothing it produces is veterinary or medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation.

• Always consult a licensed veterinarian for health concerns, diagnosed conditions, medication, dosing, or therapeutic diets.
• If your cat shows symptoms of illness, contact a veterinarian — do not rely on this Service.

2. AI-generated content

Responses are generated by artificial intelligence using a product database we maintain. Despite our testing and safeguards, AI output can contain errors, and product data (ingredients, formulations) can become outdated when manufacturers change recipes. Always verify against the actual product label before making decisions. The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

3. Your responsibilities

• Use the Service only as an informational aid, not a substitute for professional judgment.
• Verify ingredient and nutrition information on the product label before purchasing or feeding.
• Don't attempt to abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service.
• Don't use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

4. Content you submit

You can type in product details or upload label photos for analysis. By submitting content you confirm that you have the right to share it, and you grant us the right to process it in order to provide the Service (including sending it to our AI provider for analysis — see the Privacy Policy). Submissions are used to generate your analysis and are not stored on our servers. If you separately send us product information (for example by email), you grant us the right to verify it and include the factual label data in our public product database. Please don't submit personal information or content you have no right to share.

5. Our content

The Service's ratings, scoring methodology, product analyses, texts, and the curated product and ingredient database are the property of the Service's operator. You're welcome to use and share them for personal, non-commercial purposes (a screenshot for a friend or a group discussion is fine — that's what they're for). Bulk copying, scraping, or republishing the database or analyses, in whole or in substantial part, is not permitted without our written consent.

6. Using the Service

• Furry PI is currently free to use and doesn't require an account.
• Fair-use limits (such as daily request caps) apply to keep the Service available for everyone.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Furry PI and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service — including decisions you make based on its output. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose (or €0 if you used only the free tier). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or your statutory consumer rights in the EU.

8. Service changes and availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.

9. Governing law

The Service is operated from the Republic of Lithuania; you can reach the operator at info@furrypi.com. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. If you're an EU consumer, you also keep all protections granted by the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
